A YOUNG teenage girl has been arrested after she allegedly robbed and assaulted a taxi driver in the northern suburbs early this morning.

The woman was one of three passengers – two females and one man – who were picked up in the city and taken to Mansfield Park about 12.40am.

On arrival, the driver was allegedly held by one of the females while he was assaulted and robbed by the other two passengers.

An interior light was also broken in the attack.

Following police investigation, the girl was found and arrested at an Ottoway address. Police are expecting to catch the other two people involved today.
