Police need cabbie's help
A TAXI driver may hold the key to an early morning assault in the Chapel St nightclub district.
Investigators believe the driver may lead them to a passenger who can help police unravel what happened at the Prahran club shortly before 5.40am yesterday.
The passenger is described as being about 40 years old, 165cm tall, with olive skin, short black and grey hair, a medium build and wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans.
He was the only passenger in the cab.
Police have asked the taxi driver who collected the man to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or to visit www.crimestoppers.com.au
