A TAXI driver was threatened by a group of men in the northern suburbs early yesterday.

The man was standing next to his car on Florence Ave, Blair Athol, when he was approached by two men, one holding a knife, at about 1.50am. The taxi driver fled along Anson Rd as a third man joined the other two.

The offenders were described as Caucasian, and wearing black hooded jumpers, one with a white baseball cap underneath, jeans and sneakers.
